Fundraising

With the cost of a transplant often exceeding $500,000, many transplant families are unable to shoulder the financial burden of such a procedure.  The Children’s Organ Transplant Association (COTA) is a national charity dedicated to organizing and guiding communities in raising funds for transplant-related expenses.  

Since June 2012, Elise's family and friends have come together to raise funds for the costs of transplant uncovered by insurance.

All donations are fully tax deductible and are administered by COTA. There are no administrative costs and 100% of all money raised goes directly to uncovered transplant-related expenses.
